Robert Kulet, Elcin Aktag, Raha Jabbari, Sahar Mirhoseini
The exhibition “Unbild” brings together a group of artists who, thematically, offer us a range of different insights. In doing so, the artists engage with questions surrounding social constructs and our existence within them. Some positions approach this field from various perspectives and demonstrate how materials such as wood and textile can function as living image carriers. At the same time, the exhibition includes works that artistically process themes such as events and their fluidity across cultures. In addition, other works can be understood as explorations of sociological phenomena, thus spanning a wide arc throughout the exhibition. Together, they do not form a single unified whole, but instead engage viewers in an intriguing way precisely through their diversity.
