memory, and the complexities of cultural inheritance. Drawing on themes of childhood,

interiority, and care, the exhibition reflects on how personal and collective histories circulate

through objects, photos, and everyday memories. Its title, taken from a calypso song sung by

the artist’s mother, highlights the lingering traces of colonial cultures within British identity.
